Due to the decision that Cowboy Gala 2005 was probably the last fundraiser which would be held to benefit ACSO, the ACSO Board of Directors met in November 2005 to hear the advice of the person in charge of their investment portfolio. His expert guidance has and will continue to enable them to make appropriate decisions throughout the years to come, ensuring the continued support ACSO affords to young people of Arizona ranching families.

Each March the ACSO Board of Directors meets to review applications and decide on the applicants approved to receive a scholarship award for the upcoming fall semester within that year and the spring semester of the next year.

Potential applicants should read everything on this page as well as the Scholarship Eligibility Requirements very carefully to determine if they meet the qualifications. After doing so, should there still be a question, hopefuls are instructed to submit their application in it's entirety as specified. Hopefuls are not to mail, email, fax, or place phone calls to anyone asking questions regarding their personal situation with regard to eligibility, as no single person can make a determination. Decisions are made strictly at the discretion of the ACSO Board of Directors, and they will make all determinations as a whole, and only at the time of the annual review of all applications.

Scholarship applications are to be filled out completely and mailed (do not fax) in one envelope with all the required supporting information and documents. Each year, submissions are to be postmarked after December 31, and no later than February 10. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this deadline. Late applications, incomplete applications or applications received without all of the required documentation/information will not be considered. Review of applications and scholarship award decisions will be made at the annual Board of Directors meeting. Letters notifying applicants of the results will be sent out. Applicants who are not approved to receive an ACSO scholarship will receive a letter informing them of that fact but there will not be a specific reason given; requests by any method asking for an explanation will not be acknowledged.

PLEASE NOTE: WE APOLOGIZE, BUT APPLICATIONS AND SCHOLARSHIP VOUCHERS MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA FEDEX ONLY, EFFECTIVE IMME-DIATELY. tHIS HAS BECOME NECES-SARY DUE TO THE DELAY OF SOME SUBMISSIONS WHICH WERE SENT THRU THE US POSTAL SERVICE.
